<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security label whose authenticity is easily determined at low cost, and which is effective for preventing a forgery of itself or a product, and is hardly identified as a security label. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a label in which a label piece composed of a label base material and an adhesive layer is temporarily stuck on a release agent layer side of a separator having the release agent layer on at least one side. The label is formed with slits penetrating into the label base material.
