<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot tool steel for a die for hot forging, hot extrusion, casting, die-casting or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The hot tool steel comprises: by mass, 0.3 to 0.45% C, >0.25 to 1.2% Si, 0.2 to 1.0% Mn, 3 to 6% Cr, one or two kinds selected from Mo and W by 1.0 to 3.5% in terms of Mo equivalent (Mo+1/2W) and one or two kinds selected from V and Nb by 0.3 to 1.0% in terms of V equivalent (V+1/2Nb), and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities, in which, as the impurities,≤0.015% N and≤0.005% Ti are included, and also, the balance between the N and Ti satisfies N≤R≡1.46×10<SP POS="POST">-4</SP>×Ti<SP POS="POST">-0.736</SP>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
