<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device and method which can draw a high-quality image without density unevenness even during acceleration and deceleration of a paper sheet. <P>SOLUTION: The image drawn on the paper sheet is read by a scanner. Positions and sizes of dots drawn by connecting a plurality of droplets are detected from the read image, and deviation amounts of positions and sizes of the dots from the ideal states are measured.
