<p>The present invention relates to a stem cell culture medium which can be substituted for a conventional stem cell culture medium containing the heterologous protein fetal bovine serum, and more particularly to a stem cell culture medium containing a basal medium and a knockout serum replacement and a method of culturing stem cells using the same. According to the invention, a high purity of stem cells having a reduced ability to spontaneously differentiate can be obtained without having to use the heterologous protein fetal bovine serum and expensive growth factors (EGF and bFGF), and thus the efficacy of stem cell therapy can be significantly increased.</p> |
