<p>Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for heat treatment to perform constraint to prevent deformation of a heat-treated material, the apparatus and method improved to obtain a desired hardness value since the entire area of the heat-treated material is in contact with water or oil completely. The apparatus for heat treatment comprises: a tray for mounting a heat-treated material; a pressing jig for preventing deformation of the heat-treated material during a cooling process by pressing and constraining the heat-treated material mounted on the tray; a jig operating part for operating the pressing jig; a temperature sensor installed in a cooling chamber for cooling the heat-treated material to sense the temperature of the heat-treated material; and a control part for allowing the pressing jig to constrain the heat-treated material by operating the jig operating part when the temperature of the heat-treated material sensed by the temperature sensor satisfies a threshold range. Therefore, the present invention has an effect of preventing the hardness of the area in contact with a constraint means from being lowered since the heat-treated material is uniformly in contact with a cooling fluid and a non-contact area is not generated; and preventing deformation such as torsion or the like caused by rapid cooling since the heat-treated material is constrained after a fixed time.</p> |
