<p>The invention relates to a roller shutter slat (1) roll-formed from a coated aluminum strip to a hollow body profile having a male upper end (2) and a female lower end (3) for engagement with one or more other slats (1). According to the invention, at least one end (2, 3), preferably the female lower end (3), of the hollow body profile comprises a coating (4) based on a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) solvent dispersion.
