<p>The former (400) has configurable preconditioned inputs connected to antennal elements, and outputs for providing a connection to receivers, where each receiver comprises a routing unit for routing signals received by the antennal elements to the other receiver when a number of available receivers are unavailable. An implement unit implements a transfer function matrix with columns and rows, where value of column coefficients is configurable to 0 or non-zero value. Coefficients of a configurable column are offset by a line to form a matrix i.e. staircase. An independent claim is also included for a method for designing a channel former.</p> |
