<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately evaluate fingerprint quality in a set fingerprint region. <P>SOLUTION: A fingerprint ridge line quality calculation device 10 for calculating a local fingerprint quality is provided with a ridge line width measurement unit comprising: marking setting means which performs marking on a ridge line with a fingerprint ridge line feature point as a start point and performs marking with an intersection between a vertical line and an adjacent ridge line as a start point; search vertical line setting means which sets a search vertical line with an arbitrary ridge line point as a start point; and ridge line width measurement means which sets ridge line width end points A and B on the adjacent ridge line adjacent to the ridge line and derives a distance between the ridge line width end points A and B as a ridge line width at the ridge line point. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
