<p>This toothed belt is characterized by all or part of a belt main body being formed using a thermoplastic elastomeric alloy containing a thermoplastic polyurethane (A) and a modified ethylene-propylene-dien copolymer rubber (B) provided by an unsaturated carboxylic acid or a derivative thereof. It is desirable for the weight ratio [(B)/(A)] between the modified ethylene-propylene-dien copolymer rubber (B) provided by the unsaturated carboxylic acid or the derivative thereof and the thermoplastic polyurethane (A) to be 0.1/99.9-30/70. This toothed belt has extremely excellent durability, the belt main body being unlikely to generate wear, damage, cracks, or breakages, etc., even if used under high load for a long time.</p> |
