<p>Provided is a flame-retardant biaxially-oriented polyester film, in which flame retardancy is imparted to a base material layer comprising a polyester such as a polyalkylene terephthalate or a polyalkylene naphthalate using a phosphorus-containing flame-retardant agent and the deterioration in hydrolysis resistance caused by the flame-retardant agent is reduced. The present invention is a flame-retardant biaxially-oriented polyester film containing a flame-retardant base material layer, wherein the flame-retardant base material layer contains a polyalkylene terephthalate or a polyalkylene naphthalate in an amount of 60 to 98 wt% inclusive and a specific phosphinic acid salt or a specific diphosphinic acid salt in an amount of 2 to 40 wt% inclusive, both relative to the weight of the layer.</p> |
