<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-face printing label and a double-face printer dispensing with printing of position detecting marks on printing areas 6 and 7 in the surface side of a label base material 2, preventing a decrease in a printing area in the surface side of the label base material 2, and having a neat and favorable external appearance. <P>SOLUTION: The double-face label is formed by focusing attention on a point that marks 32 for detecting a position by a magnetic substance material or a magnetic material are provided not in the surface side but in the backside of a label base material 2. The double-face label is folded up at a fold line 3 formed on the label base material 2, the printing areas 6 and 7 in the surface side that are located in both the left/right sides of the fold line 3 become printable, and both the left/right printing areas 6 and 7 are opened at the fold line 3 to be stuck to a sticking object body.
