#CMT# #/CMT# The device i.e. power supply outlet (1), has a switch (8), and a plug-in part formed as a male connector (2) and movably guided in a moving direction relative to another plug-in part formed as a power socket. A power socket insert (6) guided by a retainer (5) is guided in a rotatably movable manner relative to the retainer. The male connector has an arresting element (4) fixed at the retainer by rotational movement. The power socket insert is coupled directly with an actuation device of the switch. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Plug-in device i.e. power supply outlet, for electrically connecting a container i.e. cooling container, with a counter element i.e. supply device, in an on-board of a ship. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The male connector has the arresting element fixed at the retainer by rotational movement, and the power socket insert is coupled directly with the actuation device of the switching unit, thus simplifying the switching- and arresting processes of the device. The power socket insert guided by the retainer is guided in the rotatably movable manner relative to the retainer, thus enabling the actuation of the switch inside the power socket insert without additional supports, and hence reducing required space, production- and assembly costs, and preventing occurrence of malfunctions. The switch and the power socket are formed by a common assembly, thus reducing the required time during the assembly, and increasing the serviceability of the device. The entire components can be exchanged in a rapid and a simple manner, thus increasing reliability of the containers in an on-board of the ship.
