The present invention relates to a malfunction information storing device for a vehicle and a method thereof. According to the present invention, the malfunction information storing device for a vehicle includes: a failsafe-function input unit generating a preset vehicle-condition information when the vehicle malfunctions; a failsafe manager generating vehicle-component controlling signals based on the vehicle-condition information received from the failsafe-function input unit; and a failsafe trigger storing the vehicle-condition information during a predetermined period before the malfunction of the vehicle received from the failsafe manager. |
