摘要 <p>The present invention relates to a system and a method for compensating for a peak load using a fuel cell railroad vehicle, which is capable of sharing a peak load to reduce a size of the load to be supplied by a feeding system by introducing a fuel cell vehicle that is standing by in a secondary line to supply an output of a fuel cell in a vehicle to the feeding system through a train line, wherein the peak load is generated as operation of a high speed train being driven on a line is increased during a period when there are many train uses. The system according to the present invention comprises: a load compensation instructor to transmit a load compensation instruction on the date and at the time when a peak load is predicted by predicting the peak load to be generated as operation of a railroad vehicle is increased based on operation allocation and operation information of the railroad vehicle, which are received from a railroad agency terminal; and a fuel cell vehicle which is parked and stands by on a secondary rail, is then moved to a main rail of a spot where the peak load is predicted if the load compensation instruction is received from the load compensation instructor, and compensates for power supply by supplying power corresponding to the peak load to a power feeder through a feeding line.</p>
