<p>A garment such as a bra 10 comprises a less-stretchable component 20 formed at various locations on and as a portion of the garment such as the cup 10. The less-stretchable component has less elasticity than that of another part of the garment. The less-stretchable component is screen printed on the fabric from which the garment is made, or it comprises a film of glue applied to the fabric. In use, the less-stretchable component maintains a predetermined shape and provides support to the user. Other garments which may benefit from such a feature are panties and corsets.</p> |
