PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate defects caused by an optical sheet installed between a polarizing plate and a light emitter.SOLUTION: The optical module 20 includes a polarizing plate 40 having a pair of edge parts 40c1, 40c2 facing each other in one direction d1, a pair of light sources 25a, 25b having a light emitter 26 that are respectively arranged at positions becoming both outside of the pair of edge parts 40c1, 40c2 in one direction d1, and a reflector 21 installed at the position facing directly the polarizing plate 40. Thereby, light emitted from the light emitter can directly enter the reflector and the light entered into the reflector can enter the polarizing plate after being reflected by the reflector. |
