METHOD FOR BUILDING LARGE SIZED OFFSHORE MODULE USING DRY DOCK

The present invention relates to a method to build a large offshore mega-module (10) using a dry dock (20), comprising: (a) a step of arranging a floating unit (30) inside the dry dock (20), and manufacturing the mega-module (10); (b) a step of loading the mega-module (10) onto the floating unit (30); and (c) a step of launching the floating unit (30), and moving the floating unit (30) to the outside of the dry dock (20). Therefore, the present invention provides an advantage in costs towards the enlargement of the vessels, and makes better use of space to manufacture vessels on land by arranging a floating barge on the dry dock and manufacturing the module on the top of the floating barge.
