<p>PURPOSE: A battery remaining capacity estimation apparatus and a method, and a battery management system using thereof are provided to estimate the battery remaining capacity more exactly. CONSTITUTION: A battery remaining capacity estimation apparatus (210) comprises a state of health (SOH) estimating unit (211) and a state of charge (SOC) estimating unit (212). The SOH estimating unit estimates the battery capacity for estimating the degree of degradation of battery. The SOC estimating unit estimates current SOC of the battery by using the current counting method, based on the battery capacity and the charge or discharge current of battery.
