<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can suppress overheat in preliminary printing and achieve proper drying processing in actual printing. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 1 includes: a conveyance means for conveying a recording medium 2 where images are formed using a recording agent; heating means (hot air heaters 42a-42d) for heating the recording medium 2 conveyed by the conveyance means and drying the images; and a heating temperature adjusting means for adjusting a second heating temperature for heating the recording agent and drying the images in the preliminary printing for calibration to a low temperature compared to a first temperature for heating the recording agent and drying the images in the actual printing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
