<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that processing efficiency is deteriorated unless an arrangement corresponding to a color difference format is performed when information on an intra-prediction mode of a luminance signal and information on the intra-prediction mode of a color difference signal are encoded and are arranged in an encoding bit string. <P>SOLUTION: If a division mode for horizontally and vertically dividing the luminance signal is set when an image signal is intra-predicted in a previously set minimum encoding block unit, an intra-prediction section 103 intra-predicts the color difference signal in the prediction block unit of intra-prediction of the color difference signal in a minimum encoding block which is set in accordance with the color difference format. A second encoding bit string generation section 113 generates an encoding string which includes, in series, information on the intra-luminance prediction mode of a prediction block of the luminance signal and information on an intra-color difference prediction mode of the prediction block of the color difference signal in a reference position which is the same as the prediction block of the luminance signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
