Transcranial fixing device for deep brain stimulation probes

The device has a main part (11) i.e. sleeve, fixed at interior of an opening (100) formed in a skull (1) of a patient. A fixation part (12) i.e. locking part, is housed at the interior of the main part. The fixation part comprises an axial hole for permitting the passage of a deep cerebral stimulation probe (14). The fixation part is arranged to be passed from a position in which fixation part permits axial sliding of the probe in the hole to another position in which the fixation part surrounds the probe in the hole to prevent the sliding of the probe.
