<p>A display device (100) comprises a display unit (1), a light source (7) disposed on a back surface side of the display unit (1) and configured to irradiate light to the display unit (1), an optical member (11, 12) disposed between the display unit (1) and the light source (7), and a support member (13) of tabular shape configured to transmit light irradiated from the light source (7) and support the optical member (11, 12) from a back surface side of the optical member (11, 12).
