<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The computer system (2) has a housing (1) accommodating system components e.g. basic input/output system (BIOS) components, for data processing. An exchangeable battery module (6) e.g. lithium polymer battery module, is integrated in the housing and supplies energy to the system components. The battery module is designed as a flat bottom shell and includes an extension, which corresponds to a surface area of the housing and forms a lower cover for the housing. The bottom shell is designed as a stand surface (9) of the computer system in a normal operation. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Battery-operated computer system e.g. notebook computer system and netbook computer system. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The battery module is designed as the flat bottom shell and includes the extension, which corresponds to the surface area of the housing and forms the lower cover for the housing, thus increasing life-span of the system without influence on a design of the system.
