High abrasion-resistant tape comprises a fabric as a support, where the fabric consists of a plastic material, which exhibits yarns used for the formation of fabrics, of a strength of 280-1100 dtex, and each yarn is constructed from at least 90 individual filaments. Independent claims are included for: (1) elongated products e.g. cable sets, wrapped with the tape; and (2) a vehicle comprising the cable harness.
