<p>The present invention relates to a terminal functioning as a pacemaker and, more particularly, to a terminal on which a treadmill application is installed to function as a pacemaker during exercise. The terminal comprises: a display part for displaying information necessary for the treadmill application; an input part for inputting target information from a user; a storage part for storing the necessary information displayed on the display part and various data; and a control part functioning as a CPU for controlling the whole operation to display the information of the storage part on the display part and output signals at predetermined intervals so that a user can run or walk according to the information input by the input part. Also, the present invention relates to a method for controlling the terminal functioning as a pacemaker and, more particularly, to a method for controlling the terminal on which a treadmill application is installed to function as a pacemaker during exercise, the controlling method comprising the steps of: (a) inputting running (walking) speed through the input part; and (b) outputting signals at predetermined intervals via the control part functioning as a CPU for controlling the whole operation so that a user can run or walk according to target speed input by the input part.</p> |
