<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode unit allowing easy exchange work of an electrode terminal composing an original point detection mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: The electrode unit is mounted on a spindle housing that rotatingly supports a rotary spindle mounted with a cutting blade for cutting a workpiece held on a chuck table including a holding face for holding the workpiece, facing an end face of the rotary spindle. The electrode unit is provided with: a holder detachably mounted on the spindle housing, having a through-hole with an opening on one end and facing an end face of the rotary spindle and a collar portion detachably mounted on the spindle housing; the columnar electrode terminal slidably disposed in the through-hole of the holder; a pressing spring with one end mounted on the columnar electrode terminal; and a fixing means fixing the pressing spring mounted with the columnar electrode terminal to the collar part of the holder. The fixing means includes: a lever turning with the electrode terminal disposed in the through-hole of the holder and pressing spring as a rotation axis; and a locking spring disposed at the collar portion of the holder and restraining the turning of the lever. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
