<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door mount type airbag device capable of acting as a guide means of an airbag expanded and developed with a simple structure and giving an reaction force which is not projected to the outside of a window more than a prescribed amount even when an occupant is brought into contact with the expanded and developed airbag. <P>SOLUTION: The airbag device is housed in a door section 5 and in the expansion and development of the airbag 2, a door part 4b separated from a body part 4a by the cleavage at a tear line 14 is rotated toward the outside of the vehicle. The rotation angle of the door part 4b is regulated by abutting a cylinder 20 interposed between the door part 4b and an inner panel 7 to the inner panel 7. The door part 4b erected along the expanding and developing direction of the airbag 2 guides the developing direction of the airbag and functions as a receiving surface receiving the reaction force of the airbag 2 when the occupant is abutted to the expanded and developed airbag 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
