APPARATUS AND METHOD OF DEACTIVATING MALICIOUS CODES

Disclosed are an apparatus and method for deactivating malicious codes, which are capable of deactivating malicious codes, which are continuously operated even in a situation where a user terminal is terminated and restarted, in booting and login steps. The apparatus includes: a storage unit configured to store information on a list of information on files allowable to be automatically executed and information on set security levels; a counting unit configured to count a predetermined control time just after booting of a user terminal and a predetermined control time just after user login; and a control unit configured to allow or block execution of files which the user attempts to execute for the predetermined control time just after the booting and for the predetermined control time just after the user login, based on the list of information on files allowable to be automatically executed and the information on set security levels, just after the booting and the user login, as the user is booted.
