<p>The present invention is to provide a linear light emitting element of a modified cross-section type which can quickly perform an attaching operation to an object to be fixated, can be hardly separated from an attached surface, can hardly generate delamination between a core layer and a clad layer during the attaching operation, and can emit light in a balanced manner from an end part where a light source is disposed to a part placed apart therefrom. Regarding the linear light emitting element attached/fixated to a concave part or a convex part of an object (F) to be fixated, a main body (R) of the light emitting element is configured by comprising: a core layer (1) made of a transparent resin having a bigger refractive index than the air; and a clad layer (2) made of a semitransparent resin having a bigger refractive index than the air but smaller than that of the core layer (1), and formed to cover a part of a surface of the core layer (1) desired to be light-emitted. An attachment part (A) attachable to the concave part or the convex part of the object (F) to be fixated is formed by forming the attachment part (A) into a modified cross-section type having a linear protruded part (12) and a groove part on the core layer (1).</p> |
