<p>The construction system comprises a number of connection elements 54.1-54.11 which each receive the ends of two or more horizontal elements 54.53.1, 54.53.2. Connection elements may connect horizontal elements at corners or along straight sections so as to form a polygonal structure, with connection elements being designed to fit on top of one another, in use, so that a structure can be built up over a number of layers. The connection elements preferably include internal plates which act to place the ends of the horizontal elements so that they are staggered relative to adjacent horizontal elements. It is envisaged that the construction system can be used without additional fastenings being required although a securing device may be utilised to secure a number of horizontally adjacent connection elements together. Elements in the connection system may be provided with a numbering scheme to aid their correct positioning within a structure.</p> |
