A camera having communication ability can switch a mode between a communication mode and a shooting mode. The camera combines features of a communication device and a digital camera. The camera comprises a communication device, an imaging device, and a switching device. The switching device switched the communication mode to the shooting mode responsive to completion of communication.

1. A camera capable of telephone-calling with another device, the camera comprising:
a telephone calling device that performs telephone-calling with the another device; an imaging device that captures an image; a displaying device that displays at least one of (i) the image captured by the imaging device and (ii) an announcement of a telephone call sent from the another device; and a control device configured to:
control the displaying device to display an image during capturing by the imaging device;control the displaying device to display an announcement of a telephone call in response to receiving a telephone call sent from the another device during capturing by the imaging device; andcontrol the telephone calling device to perform the telephone-calling with the another device in accordance with an instruction of a user in response to displaying the announcement of the telephone call.
