[Also in Divisions B8 and F2] An accelerometer of the type disclosed in Specification No.1,181,636 and comprising a plurality of rollers 12, 14 supported by a guide-way consisting of walls spaced apart by a distance less than the summation of the roller diameters and a flexible band partially encompassing at least one roller to form a linearly-movable cluster, is provided with a resilient band 34. The resilient band may encompass side portions on the rollers of less diameter (122, 124) Fig. 5 (not shown), or it may replace the flexible band Fig.3 3 (not shown). Micro-switches may, be positioned along the guideway surfaces. |
