摘要 <p>Provided is an electromagnetic antenna and black matrix of a flat panel display, in which horizontal and vertical antenna elements capable of recognizing a position of an electromagnetic generating device by horizontal (X) coordinates and vertical (Y) coordinates on a Cartesian plane, in place of a black matrix formed on a flat panel display are formed, and in order to separate the two overlapping antenna elements, an insulator is formed between the antenna elements, and also, in order to separate the antenna elements from other circuits of the flat panel display, the antenna elements are covered with an insulator to form a lattice pattern such as the black matrix of the flat panel display to block interference of light between dots (pixels) of a screen, and by sensing an electromagnetic field, a position of an electromagnetic generator (mainly, in the form of an electromagnetic pen) is measured two-dimensionally or three-dimensionally. A substrate such as that of an existing electromagnetic antenna is omitted and a distance between the electromagnetic generator and the antennas is reduced. A substrate and a shield such as those of the existing electromagnetic antenna are omitted to reduce a thickness and a weight, and positions of the antennas are close to the electromagnetic generator (FIG. 9). In a major substrate in which noise is generated, a distance is increased to operate smoothly with a low level of electromagnetic generator. Also, the number of components is reduced, simplifying an assembly process and manufacturing cost.</p>
