MATERIAL HANDLING STRUCTURE FOR MOVING EQUIPEMENTS AT MOONPOLL ZONE AND DRILL SHIP INCLUDING THE STRUCTURE

The present invention relates to a drillship including a material handling structure for moving equipment in a moon pool zone, which is provided to make the equipment, handled in the moon pool zone, be easily transferred without interference from other structures or fixtures, and enable material handling to be performed even in an inaccessible place of the moon pool zone. The material handling structure comprises: a steppe pulley unit formed on the inner circumferential surface of the upper end of a moon pool structure; a rail structure of the inside of the moon pool formed on the step unit; a trolley moving along the rail structure inside the moon pool to transport drilling equipment; a skid rail structure installed on a main deck around the moon pool structure; and a support frame having an existing vertical support removed therefrom and installed on the main deck to support a topside module and use the skid rail structure in order to prevent the obstruction of the transportation of the drilling equipment.
