METHOD OF ESTIMATING THE NUMBER OF ANTENA USED IN NEIGHBOR CELL PERFORMING CoMP OPERATION

PURPOSE: A method for estimating the number of antennas used in a neighbor cell performing a CoMP(Coordinate Multi-Point) operation is provided to accurately measure channel quality of each cell according to an estimated antenna number. CONSTITUTION: A terminal obtains sequence information through a sync channel of each cell(S710). The terminal measures RSRP(Reference Signal Received Power) for a pilot signal of the first antenna(S730). The terminal estimates an antenna number of the neighbor cell by the difference between the first RSRP value and an RSRP value of an additional antenna(S760). The terminal measures channel quality of the cell(S770).
