摘要 <p>A remote facility monitoring node according to the present invention is installed to a street lamp to monitor a facility at a remote site and comprises: a street lamp which illuminates around the facility; an image taking unit which is installed at one side of a street lamp pole, rotates around the pole under the control of a control module, and periodically takes images around the facility; the control module which, when a plurality of images are taken by the image taking unit per every period, concatenates the images to store as one image, and compares the concatenated image with a prestored image of a previous period; and the street lamp pole which provides a base, to which the control module, the street lamp, and the image taking unit are mounted. The remote facility monitoring system according to the present invention installs a monitoring node on a street lamp facility, thereby no separate power supply is required to install the monitoring system. In addition, street lamp nodes (up to hundreds and thousands in number) are remotely and wirelessly controlled by using wireless access points, thereby simplifying an overall system and enabling effective monitoring on facilities. Furthermore, according to the present invention, a street lamp is used to illuminate, such that a clear field of view at a brightness similar to that of day is guaranteed even when brightness is low or during night time. In addition, the system can be realized using low cost camera modules without adopting high cost equipment such as an infrared (IR) camera or a night surveillance camera. By adopting the present invention, stable power supply is guaranteed regardless of weather when using a solar cell panel (200D), and the monitoring system can be operated without an external power source, when monitoring facilities in islands and mountain areas.</p>
