1. A method comprising:
a) receiving, by a wireless device, at least one radio resource control message from a base station, said at least one radio resource control message to cause in said wireless device:
i) configuration of a plurality of cells comprising a primary cell and at least one secondary cell; andii) assignment of each of said at least one secondary cell to a cell group in a plurality of cell groups, each of said plurality of cell groups comprising a subset of said plurality of cells; b) receiving, by said wireless device, a control command causing said wireless device to transmit a random access preamble on a random access channel of a first cell in a first cell group in said plurality of cell groups; and c) transmitting, by said wireless device, overlapping in time with transmission of said random access preamble, an uplink packet on a first subframe of said first cell; and wherein transmission power of said uplink packet is calculated considering:
i) a maximum allowable transmission power in said first subframe of said first cell; andii) transmission power of said random access preamble. |
