Provided in the present invention are a composition for a heat shielding film, a method for manufacturing same, and a heat shielding film using the same. The composition for a heat shielding film includes metal complex compound and an organic solvent including at least one among complex compounds represented by chemical formula 1 to 15. Provided in an embodiment of the present invention is a composition for a heat shielding film which can provide high heat shielding properties while maintaining excellent visible light penetrability.
