1. A microwave energy delivery and measurement system, comprising:
a microwave generator configured to generate a microwave energy signal, the microwave generator including:
a processing unit configured to control the generation and delivery of a microwave energy signal; anda directional coupler configured to provide at least a portion of the microwave energy signal to the processing unit; and a microwave energy delivery device configured to couple to the microwave generator, the microwave energy delivery device including:
a housing;a microwave antenna coupled to the housing and configured to receive the microwave energy signal;a remote RF sensor disposed in the housing and coupled to the microwave antenna, the remote RF sensor including a remote directional coupler, a first mixer, and a second mixer, the remote directional coupler configured to provide a forward power measurement signal to the first mixer and a reverse power measurement signal to the second mixer; and a remote sensing interface configured to couple the processing unit of the microwave generator to the remote RF sensor and to transmit at least one of the forward power measurement signal or the reverse power measurement signal from the remote RF sensor to the processing unit.
