1. A grip configured for use with at least a portion of the handle portion of a fishing pole, the grip comprising:
an ethylene vinyl acetate sleeve including a first end, a second end, and a mounting surface extending generally therebetween; and a gripping member comprising an ethylene vinyl acetate inner layer and an outer layer comprising polyurethane, the inner layer of the gripping member being adhered to the mounting surface of the sleeve wherein the sleeve is injection molded from an original form of ethylene vinyl acetate such that the density of said sleeve in a finished state is no more than one half the density of the original form of ethylene vinyl acetate. |
