Disclosed is a maintenance apparatus for an azimuth thruster which enables users to conveniently maintain a duct part of a propeller by detaching a leg on the bottom of the duct part of the propeller elevating inside the maintenance room of a hull from a base plate. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the maintenance apparatus for an azimuth thruster may comprise: a maintenance room installed in the hull which has an opening to take the duct part of the propeller in or out; the leg on the bottom of the duct part of the propeller; a mounting unit to join the leg to the base plate to open or close the opening to be detached; and an engaging unit to fixate the base plate to the opening.
