The present invention relates to a vehicle route determination method which provides a shortest route to a destination by utilizing data on a signal system of at least one traffic light existing on a particular route. The vehicle route determination method utilizing traffic signal data of the present invention comprises the steps of: (A) acquiring current location information; (B) calculating information of a plurality of routes to a destination with regard to the current location information; (C) calculating estimated arrival time to the destination; and (D) displaying a route to arrive most quickly.
