<p>The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for inputting text according to movement of a point and a computer readable recording medium to execute the method. A text input is completed only by passing one point representing position information through an element position shown in an input screen. To this end, the present invention provides an apparatus for moving a position, which includes a cursor manipulation unit to manipulate a cursor representing position information on an input screen displayed on a portable terminal or a computer terminal; a memory unit to store input information of each element displayed on the input screen or an instruction information used to perform a function corresponding to the element; a control unit to control an output of the input screen, to receive position information of the cursor to determine a position movement state of the cursor within the input screen, to extract the input information or instruction information for an element of a target position if the position movement of the cursor in the input screen is determined from the memory unit, to select the input information or the command information as a text element for text input, and to the display the input information or the command information or to execute the instruction; and a display unit to display an input screen image and position information of the cursor and to display a text combination result by a text element selected by the control unit, and a method thereof. A text can be input regardless of the contact state with an input unit such as a computer keyboard or a touch screen.</p> |
