The present invention relates to a technology of a wireless power transfer apparatus for a medical device implanted in a human body using a focused ultrasound beamforming technique. The wireless power transfer apparatus comprises: a beamforming unit which outputs driving signals, the time delays of which were calculated in a particular sequence, to a phased array ultrasound transducer; and the phased array ultrasound transducer which changes the focal positions of ultrasound beams output according to the time delays of the driving signals for the ultrasound beams to be focused on the medical device implanted in the human body and converted into electricity for charging a charger device.
