<p>The invention relates to a drum washing machine. Specifically, the drum washing machine of the present invention has a structure which can prevent the generation of siphon phenomenon washing water adverse current phenomenon during discharging the washing water inside the outer cylinder. The drum washing machine of the present invention is characterized in that it includes the several following components: an outer cylinder for storing the washing water; a water discharge pump capable of discharging the washing water to the external; a water discharge hose for conveying the washing water pumped by the water discharge pump; a U-shaped connector formed with an air drawing passage for connecting the water discharge pump and the water discharge hose; a siphon cutter inserted to the air drawing passage and capable of flowing the atmosphere, and having an appearance that the lower diameter is smaller than the upper diameter. A drum washing machine with the structure can not only prevent generation of siphon phenomenon when the washing water inside the outer cylinder is discharged, but also can prevent the phenomenon that the washing water backward flows and inflows in the outer cylinder once again through the water discharge pump and the U-shaped connector.</p> |
