The present invention relates to a gray cast iron having excellent durability, composed of 2.6-3.2 wt% of carbon (C), 0.7-0.9 wt% of copper (Cu), 0.4-0.7 wt% of phosphorus (P), 0.2-0.4 wt% of molybdenum (Mo), 0.02-0.08 wt% of tin (Sn); and the remaining amount of iron and impurities. Therefore, the gray cast iron having excellent durability has improved tensile strength, fatigue strength, and reduced friction coefficient; and reduces production costs by more than 10% when compared with an expensive conventional material. |
