1. An ether-amide compound having formula (I):
RaRbC(OR1)—CHRc—CONR2R3 (I)wherein:
Ra, Rb, and Rc are each a hydrogen atom, or a linear, or branched alkyl radical, wherein at least one of Ra, Rb, and Rc is other than a hydrogen atom, R1 is an R′1 or -(AO)nR′1 group, wherein:
R′1 is a hydrocarbon radical having an average number of carbon atoms ranging from 1 to 36 which are saturated or unsaturated, linear, or branched, optionally cyclic and optionally aromatic, with the proviso that said aromatic radicals may contain a heteroatom in an aromatic ring,the radicals AO, which may be identical or different, are each a radical of formula —CH2—CH2—O—, —CHMe—CH2—O—, or —CH2—CHMe—O—,n is an average number greater than or equal to 0, R2 and R3, which may be identical or different, are each a hydrocarbon radical having an average number of carbon atoms ranging from 1 to 36 which are saturated or unsaturated, linear, or branched, optionally cyclic, optionally aromatic and optionally substituted, with the proviso that R2 and R3 may together optionally form a ring member including the nitrogen atom to which they are bonded, which ring member is optionally substituted and/or optionally includes an additional heteroatom, said ether-amide compound having a melting point of less than or equal to 20° C. |
