PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-speed imaging method for enabling serial imaging of a single shot phenomenon changing in an ultra short time region equal to or shorter than a nanosecond.SOLUTION: A high-speed imaging method includes: a step of stretching pulse light emitted from a broadband light source so as to have a pulse width corresponding to recording time; a step of shaping the stretched pulse light into a plurality of pieces of strobe light whose wavelengths differ mutually and which are composed of a plurality of pulse strings; a step of serially irradiating an object with the plurality of pieces of strobe light whose wavelengths differ mutually, creating a plurality of pieces of transmitted light or reflected light by making the plurality of pieces of strobe light be transmitted or reflected by the object, and making each transmitted light or reflected light retain image information on the object at time corresponding to its wavelength; a step of spatially splitting the plurality of pieces of transmitted light or reflected light whose wavelengths differ mutually, for each wavelength while retaining the image information; and a step of making the spatially split light be incident on different positions on a light receiving surface of an imaging device to detect the light. |
