PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the accuracy of estimating a sound source generated in a fluid.SOLUTION: A fluid noise estimation method for estimating sound pressure of a sound source generated when a fluid flows includes: determining flow velocities of the fluid in multiple directions in multiple spots; and estimating sound pressure of the sound source to be generated by the fluid, on the basis of a product of a sum of the flow velocities and a strain rate and vorticity of the fluid determined from the flow velocities, and a product of the flow velocities and the strain rate of the fluid determined from the flow velocities. |
