PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable regulation of color temperature in a display panel using a white light emitting OLED.SOLUTION: A white light emitting OLED includes a light emitting layer containing light emitting materials of respective RGB colors. The density of a driving current to be supplied to the white light emitting OLED is changed to regulate the light emission of the OLED to a color temperature according to an instruction from a user. A period PD to cause the OLED to emit light is changed in inverse proportion to the change of the driving current so that the light emission luminance in one frame can be maintained relative to the light emission intensity of the OLED, which is changed according to the driving current.
